Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Accounts

The App is intended for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers for the benefit of children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create or manage a subscription. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of device access and any purchase credentials.

2. Subscription and Billing

• Plan: Kids Communicator offers a single auto-renewing subscription that unlocks full access. Current price: $9.99 per month (or the local equivalent). Pricing may change with notice where required by law.
• No free tier: The App is 100% subscription-based; core features are not available without an active subscription.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID/Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel: You can manage or cancel at any time in your device account settings (iOS: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions; Android: Play Store > Payments & subscriptions).
• Restore purchases: If you reinstall or change device, use the in-app "Restore purchases" option to reinstate an active subscription tied to your store account.
• Trials and refunds: Unless expressly stated, no free trials are provided. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue or guarantee refunds.

3. License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App;
• Bypass or disable subscription, security, or usage limits;
• Use the Service in violation of applicable laws, platform rules, or these Terms;
• Upload or share unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

4. Child Safety

The App is designed for use with children under adult supervision. Adults must review and configure content before sharing the device with a child. Do not include sensitive personal data in custom entries.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

• All app content, graphics, and code are owned by Synchronize or its licensors.
• User-added text, emojis, or recordings remain yours, but you grant us a license to store and display them within the Service as needed for functionality.

6. Availability and Changes

The Service may evolve, including feature updates, removals, or changes to pricing or subscription terms. We may suspend or discontinue the Service where lawful; any prepaid period will remain available unless prevented by platform or legal requirements.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee outcomes such as speech or learning improvements, or uninterrupted availability. Platform store decisions and network connectivity are outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synchronize is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; loss of data; or loss of profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the last subscription period, where permitted.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on app store billing, device text-to-speech, and network connectivity. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes by Apple, Google, or other third parties.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or unlawful use. You may stop using the App at any time; deleting the App does not cancel your subscription—use your store account settings to cancel renewal.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of your country or state of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where platform rules require otherwise.
